A Covid Warrior Meet The First Interventional Pulmonologist In Central India


A youth icon for numerous aspirational doctors and entrepreneurs recently & awarded the Young Asian Entrepreneur Award CNBC AsiaOne – 2020; Dr. Sameer Arbat is a young Interventional Pulmonologist who is the pioneer of Interventional Pulmonology in Central India. A globally-renowned Interventional Pulmonologist and Lung Specialist, currently he is leading the team at One Healthcare, Nagpur, India have treated over 1500 Covid-19 patients.


“Working through the pandemic has been tedious and exhausting. Patients were critical, so I worked continuously to treat COVID-19 patients. My wife was pregnant & I ran the risk of infecting my wife or my newborn baby.”


An established and award-winning, clinician, researcher, and teacher in Pulmonology & Interventional Pulmonology, his research papers have received many National Awards. They were featured in over 15 international publications across Europe, South- East Asia, and the USA. In 2019 he was awarded the Fellowship from the American College of Chest Physicians – FCCP in New Orleans, USA.

COVID Warrior & True Hero

Acting on his philanthropic endeavors, he founded the Breath-Life Foundation, whose focus is health awareness. The team conducts regular health camps and education programs in Central India. The key aim is to spread awareness on Asthma, Air Pollution, COVID-19, and Sleep Disorders.


Dr. Sameer Arbat got credited with three inventions for COVID-19 which include the “Arbat Safety Box,” “Doctor Safety Assistant,” and “COVI-SAT Covid-19 Safety Van”. All three innovations have received critical acclaim from international medical bodies for their usefulness during this pandemic.
